The Federation of Peoples' Sustainable Development Cooperative (FPSDC) is a unique organization that brought together NGOs, POs and Cooperatives into one institution to become a sustainable financial mechanism for the disadvantaged communities. From a mere program called Central Loan Fund (CLF), under the Philippine Development Assistance Program (PDAP), it has metamorphosed to a network of PDAP's affiliate organizations that decided to solidify their partnership to be a vehicle of drawing the marginalized sectors into the mainstream of development processes.

As we convene our General Assembly for the year 2009, we look back at our humble beginnings and take pride in what we had accomplished over the years.
Y2009 was another fruitful year for FPSDC. We just ended our 3-year strategic plan (2007-2009) with flying colors and in the last three (3) years, we were able to improve our financial services, enhance our non-financial services and increase our membership. Concretely, we were able to increase our financial assistance to different social enterprise undertakings by 102%, from a portfolio of P70 million in Y2006 to P142 million ending Y2009. Also, your Federation has been able to recover its negative General Reserve Fund (GRF) balance of P2.0 million in 2006 to a positive GRF balance of P2.8 million in Y2009. We have likewise increased our membership by 83%, from 61 members in Y2006 to 112 members in Y2009.
